With a Walk Your Dog With Love dog harness you lead from the front, from your dog's chest. This deceptively simgple design puts the dog in the heel position and you in the lead, naturally. This gives YOU Control. Control over your do'gs pulling, jumping and tugging.
Like many animals, humans included, dogs pull back when they are pulled on. The harder we pull, the harder they pull - it's called oppositional pulling. The Walk Your Dog With Love dog harness changes this and gives us more control, naturally, simply. The improvement is immediate.
ABOUT THE HARNESS CONSTRUCTION
The heart of each harness is Polypropylene webbing. We use "Polypro" for
- great strengthto stand up to large accelerating forces
- lower stretch quotient than other types of webbingbecause if the harness stretches it won't work
- extreme durabilityto withstand constant pulling
- easy-to-cleanso your dog can look like the lady or gentleman it is
The pull-points are all double reinforced: They are sewn with real threadnot polyester filamentfor the strength to stand up to a pulling dog, and with a high stitch-per-inch count for added resilience and durability.
To protect the dog's skin and eliminate chaffing and rubbing, the harness is engineered so all the finished ends face away from the dog.
The leash attachment is a heavy-weight nickel plated steel ring, 50% thicker than lightweight rings, and welded for increased strength.
For extra security the buckles are Acetyl plastic, a hard, durable and very stable material versus nylon plastic buckles, which are softer and sensitive to both moisture and temperature variations.
For extra safety, 3M Scotchlite reflective material is fastened to key points on the harnesses front and sides to increase your dog's visibility in the dark, and especially dawn and dusk, when many of us walk our dogs.

The Ah-Ha moment for the harness occurred when Pilot, my big chocolate something-or-other dog, was recovering from leg surgery. A bit shy about putting his foot firmly on the ground, the vet said to pull gently on Pilot's leash, "his natural instinct will cause him to pull in the opposite direction he'll push down with the leg he is favoring".
Animalsincluding uspull away when pulled on! WowWee! I immediately switched the leash attachment ring to the front of Teddy's old harness, and, lo and behold, with some tweaks and twists, The harness was born!
